Google is opening Veo 3 to free users for a short window via the Gemini app. You can make three videos on the Veo 3 Fast tier, each 8 seconds at 720p with audio, until Sunday 10:00 p.m. PT (Monday 10:30 a.m. IST).

- Open Gemini (app or web).
- Tap the three-dot menu in the prompt bar.
- Choose “Video: Generate with Veo.”
- Describe the scene (action, camera, style) and any audio you want (music, ambient, dialogue). Generate.
Note: Google’s product lead Josh Woodward said the team spun up “a LOAD of TPUs” ahead of the trial, which suggests high demand during the window.
